About me

My culinary journey began over 15 years ago in a five-star London hotel, where I learned to work with calm precision under pressure. The more challenging the environment became, the more my standards rose, and that drive eventually led me into the world of Michelin dining. After returning to Birmingham, I stepped into a Michelin kitchen and within four months was running the pastry and dessert section. Mastering complex techniques and pushing for perfection became my foundation.

What has always inspired me most, though, is the joy food creates. Seeing the expression on someone’s face with the first bite, that moment of surprise, comfort, or delight, is why I do what I do. I love designing menus around people, their tastes, their stories, and their celebrations. Challenging requests, niche menus, and dietary requirements are not obstacles, they are opportunities to create something unique.

For the past five years, I have been Head Chef of the flagship luxury chalet in Verbier, Switzerland. There, I translated Michelin-level detail into fully bespoke, high-end dining for guests from around the world. Alongside running the kitchen, I spent much of my time training and supporting other chefs, which naturally developed into a real passion for teaching and sharing skills.

Now working as a private chef and trainer, I travel to homes, holiday retreats, ski resorts, and events to create carefully planned dining experiences and to teach people how to cook with more confidence. I offer everything from quiet, in-home dinners to one off workshops and longer courses, and I am always happy to talk through techniques or explain dishes as I cook for your event.

Above all, I want your experience to feel personal, relaxed, and memorable. I am calm, easy-going, passionate about my craft, and committed to making people genuinely happy through delicious, beautifully executed food.

About me

Private Dining

Private dining is a chance to create something truly personal. I work closely with you to shape a menu around your tastes, your guests, and the occasion itself, whether that is an intimate dinner at home or a larger celebration.

Each dish is carefully crafted using high-quality ingredients, with close attention to flavour, balance, and presentation. I take time to refine every element of the menu so the food feels thoughtful, beautifully composed, and genuinely memorable.

From planning the flow of the meal to cooking each course in your kitchen, I take care of the details so you can enjoy time with the people around your table. I bring calm focus into your home, creating exceptional food and a relaxed, well-paced evening.

Cookery workshops

For anyone who wants to become more confident in the kitchen, I offer practical, hands-on cooking sessions. The aim is simple: to help you cook better, understand what you are doing, and enjoy the process.

Workshops can be one to one or shared with others. They work well for small groups of friends, families, hen or stag gatherings, and birthday celebrations. For people who want to go deeper, I also run multiweek courses that focus on a particular style of cooking, technique, or cuisine, giving you time to practise and improve.

If I am cooking for your dinner party and you would like to learn as I go, I am happy to talk through each stage, answer questions, and show you how to recreate parts of the menu at home.
